Click “Test” to enter the test parameter settings interface. ① C-plane angle settings. The start and end angles (0 to 180) do not need to be modified. The angle interval can be set as needed; the smaller the interval, the more accurate the test report will be, but the longer the test will take. It is recommended to select a value between 5 and 30; ② G-plane angle settings. The LSG-1200A has a start-to-end angle range of -90 to 90, which does not need to be modified. For the interval angle, unless there are special requirements, it is recommended to select 1. In luminous intensity distribution testing, the G-plane interval angle does not affect the test duration; ③ Probe Position Selection. By default, the probe is installed in the far field at the factory, so select “Far Field” here. If testing LED packages, for example, the standard requires moving the probe to a distance of 0.316 m; in this case, select “Near Field” here for the test;④ Attenuator Coefficient: Standard equipment does not require an attenuator, so the default coefficient is 1. If you have purchased an attenuator separately, enter the coefficient labeled on the attenuator after installing it; ⑤ Warm-up Position: The default position is (0, 0) degrees, meaning data is monitored directly in front of the sample luminaire during warm-up;⑥ Uniformity: Select “Maximum”; this does not affect the test results; ⑦ Straylight suppression function: If you enter 45, the G-angle range from -45 to 45 degrees will be considered valid test data, while all other angles will automatically be set to 0. You may enable or disable this function as needed;⑧ Rated luminous flux of the light source: If unknown, leave this field blank; it does not affect the test results; ⑨ Please enter the dimensions of the light-emitting surface correctly; this parameter affects the UGR test results; ⑩ You may enter relevant information about the sample luminaire; ⑪ Enter the temperature and humidity of the current test environment; ⑫ Click OK.

6.2 Color Testing
6.2.1 Preparations for Color Testing
The color distribution test must be conducted based on the luminous intensity distribution test report for this luminaire. Once the luminous intensity distribution test is complete, the color distribution test may proceed immediately.
Open the top cover of the LSG-1200A. Secure one end of the milky-white Optical Fiber plate to the movable mounting position 0.316 m from the light source using the mounting sleeve, and align it with the center of the optical path.

Gambar 23
6.2.2 Color Testing Procedures
Click the “Color Test” button. ① “Color Parameters Only”: If checked, the software will test only color parameters and will not perform a color distribution test; if unchecked, it will generate both a color parameters report and a color distribution report;② Select the test position for color parameters: directly in front or in the direction of maximum light intensity; ③ The start and end angles for the C-plane do not need to be modified. It is also recommended to select an interval angle between 5 and 30. The smaller the interval angle, the more test data will be collected, but the longer the test will take;④ Start and end angles for the G plane: The software will automatically set these based on the luminous intensity test results; no modification is needed. It is recommended to select an interval angle between 5 and 30. In color distribution testing, the interval angle for the G plane affects the test speed; the smaller the interval angle, the more test data is collected, and the longer the test takes; ⑤ Click “Start” to begin the color test.

Gambar 24
The software generates a table based on the start and end angles of the G-axis, as well as the interval angles between the C-axis and the G-axis. The machine then rotates sequentially to the corresponding angles and tests the color parameters.

Gambar 25
After the test is complete, the color parameters and color distribution test reports will be automatically saved in the current luminous intensity distribution test report.
If you are testing small light sources, such as LED packages, and the software displays a “signal too weak” message during color testing, you will need to replace the Optical Fiber connector and swap the milky white plate for a frosted glass plate. Then, load the corresponding calibration file from the software installation package:
